Privacy Policy for Woo Migrator

A. Information from Shopify:

When you install the App, we automatically receive certain information from your Shopify store via the Shopify API. This includes:

• Store Information: Your shop's domain (.myshopify.com URL), store name, and contact email.
• API Access Token: An authorization token (OAuth) allowing our App to interact with your Shopify store's API to perform migration and cleanup tasks.
• Access to Store Data: The App requests permission to access (read and write) the following data scopes in your Shopify store; we only access this data to perform the App's functions at your direction:
  • Products & Collections
  • Orders & Draft Orders
  • Customers
  • Content (Pages & Blogs)
  • Discounts
  • Inventory & Locations
  • Files
  • URL Redirects
  • Store Publications

B. Information from You (WooCommerce):

To connect your WooCommerce store, you must provide:

• WooCommerce Store URL
• WooCommerce REST API Consumer Key
• WooCommerce REST API Consumer Secret

C. Information from your WooCommerce Store:

The App reads the following data from your WooCommerce store for migrating it to Shopify:

• Products, Variations, and Categories
• Orders and Order Details
• Customers (registered and guest data)
• Coupons
• WordPress Pages and Blog Posts
• Product Reviews (for CSV export)

D. Information We Store:

We store the following in our secure database (schema.prisma):

• Shopify Store Info: Your shop domain and API access token (Session model).
• WooCommerce Credentials: Encrypted WooCommerce Store URL, Consumer Key, and Consumer Secret (StoreConnection model).
• App Plan: Subscription plan (StoreConnection model).
• Job History: Import/cleanup job records including options, status, progress, and errors (Job, CleanupJob models).
• Temporary Migration Data: Temporarily stored generated data for features like review exports until job pruning occurs.

A. Storage:

Your stored data (WooCommerce credentials, job history) is hosted on secure servers (e.g., PostgreSQL on Render). We take reasonable measures to protect it from unauthorized access or disclosure.

B. Retention:

We store WooCommerce credentials and job history while the App is installed. We prune old job records to keep the database efficient.

C. Deletion (Data Rights):

You can access and delete your data.

• WooCommerce Credentials: Delete saved credentials from the App's Connection page at any time.
• Uninstallation: When you uninstall the App we receive an app/uninstalled webhook and will delete all data associated with your store (Sessions, StoreConnection, Job history).
